Though I don't know of any dog who likes putting boots on, they are easier to put on that other boots I have tried. I have a Beagle, ordered the medium size, and they fit just right. They are tall enough on his leg so there is enough fabric to hold on to while putting them on and they keep his legs warmer. They aren't a "snap" to get on but the extra velcro on the inside, in addition to the straps, makes them a little easier to put on and stay on. It didn't take him very long to get used to them. We live in Minnesota and sometimes it gets so cold that my dog can barely stay out long enough to take care of quick business. These boots are "real" winter boots to keep his feet warm and protect him from the cold so he can go around and around in circles to find the right place to take care of all his business.
