Review on 💼 CUIUIC Portable Monitor: The Ultimate Travel Companion with Ultrawide Screen and HD Clarity by Tory Richardson

I find portable monitors useful for travel, additional monitors when needed, and/or a direct connection to headless servers. I've gotten to know them over the last few years and I know what to expect from a cheap one. For the past few months or so I've been thinking about getting another portable screen to quickly connect to my soon to be headless server (yes I know I can connect remotely, sometimes it's better to connect directly to see what's happening on that computer) and use it as a TV screen when streaming from a 13" laptop or 10" Chromebook. When I saw the CUUIC wearable monitor becoming available, I really had to get my hands on it. It has some features like the desktop stand I wanted and it comes with almost everything I need to connect my computers when needed. At first glance, this monitor is well made. It's heavy and the body isn't plastic (like many cheaper models). It doesn't have a folio cover like most, but it does have an envelope. The cables are of good quality. No micro HDMI adapter or cable is included. Therefore, it does not work with mini computers and some mobile devices that may have a micro HDMI adapter. You need to get your own adapter to make it work. The brightness/video quality is good enough. You don't get high-end gaming quality, but it's good enough for casual gaming or travel. Watching movies on the screen is suitable for most needs. Bad sound. But that's not surprising. Just use headphones or external speakers. The built-in kickstand and desktop stand work great. For travel I would just use a stand and leave the table stand on your desk or on the counter that you will be using at home. I wouldn't trust a suitcase. I would use a screen protector and get a protective laptop case with lots of padding before putting it in my travel or commuting bag. If I could give 4.5 stars I would. That's because he needs a better way to protect his screen when traveling, and the lack of a micro-HDMI cable is odd (it's meant to increase the screen size of mobile devices). The CUUIIC wearable monitor comes with other cable options, but not this one. Problems wouldn't stop me from buying another one or recommending it to someone. For this reason, it is rounded up to 5 stars.
