First impression, it's heavier than other screens I've tried. The thickness is not the same everywhere. I'll be traveling a lot for work, so I needed a large portable external monitor. This monitor is great. It's big, 17.3 inches, and also supports HDMI, USB, and USB-C. I used USB-C and it powers it too, I don't need a separate power plug! The monitor is thin, light and comes with a carrying case. for protection while traveling. The screen is sharp and clear, pleasing to the eye, and I can adjust the brightness. I'm very impressed and it was a lot for such a large portable monitor.

I was pleasantly surprised to learn that this screen comes with a neoprene sleeve for protection, as well as multiple cables for connecting the screen to various devices. Having had portable monitors like this in the past, I can safely say that this is one of the best monitors out there. The entire body is metal, including the built-in kickstand. Is the separate plastic stand more of a phone stand? It offers no more customization options than the built-in kickstand and is just another carry-on item. Very impressed with this monitor. Very handy was that it's powered via USB-C and also from the image, which saved me from using the separate included power supply, but I'm trying to keep my desktop tidy, which meant one less cable and PS. There is also HDMI. Every imaginable cable you need is included. The body is so durable and compact that it's hard to imagine how they do it.

This portable monitor can be easily used with smartphones. I tested it on a smartphone (Android) that uses a USB-C charging port. I also connected the phone to the monitor using a USB-C HDMI to Phone TV Hub Adapter with multiport adapters. All 3 cables that come with the monitor fit. This connection also charges the phone. The monitor has a high picture and sound quality. This is perfect for those who watch movies on their phones!

The monitor wasn't as bright as we'd like and the form factor left a lot to be desired. The monitor is flat on the monitor side, but has two "tiers" on the back where it appears they've made an entire section of the monitor thicker than would be required for a single full-size HDMI port. There was an error. Another mistake was incorporating a flimsy plastic stand for this nearly five-pound monitor. Each of these flaws is worth 1/2 star or makes a four star portable monitor.
