I was pleasantly surprised to learn that this screen comes with a neoprene sleeve for protection, as well as multiple cables for connecting the screen to various devices. There's also a 5V "socket" to power the screen when needed (when using an HDMI cable). The kit includes HDMI to HDMI, USB-C to USB-C, and USB-A to USB-C (I think for use with a power adapter?). I plugged it into the USB-C port on my 6th gen 15.6-inch HP ZBook and it worked right away. Note this: you CANNOT use an old USB-C to USB-C cable, it has to be one. able to transmit video. I took it to a local coffee shop and used it there and got a few jealous looks from other customers. I can turn the screen on using just the USB-C cable from my ZBook (which was pretty smooth - no extra power required). It seems a little less bright than a laptop screen (see image) but as I don't use it for video games this isn't a problem for me. I had issues connecting the display to my ZBook's USB-C ports and running it (switching laptop ports solves this issue), but I attribute that more to the age of my laptop than to any monitor issue. , it's very convenient and definitely makes me more productive when I'm mobile.
