I have several portable monitors but this is the largest of my 17 inch monitors. In fact, this is a second monitor for a laptop. My laptop has an OLED screen. So if you're picky about colors, this monitor won't do it. However, it definitely improves productivity and convenience with its portability. A full size HDMI connector is a real plus/advantage and eliminates the hassle of mini HDMI cables. It comes with a separate stand. The brightness is only about 20% when first connected, so you'll definitely need to turn it up. I appreciate that there is no annoying or ugly text on the screen frame and it looks clean.
