Review on πŸ’Ό CUIUIC Portable Monitor: The Ultimate Travel Companion with Ultrawide Screen and HD Clarity by Vince Germain

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great mobility and comfort at a good price.

I found out about this monitor after seeing a colleague use it as a second monitor on his desk and couldn't believe more people weren't using it. I don't know anyone who works on a screen and my work requires at least 2 and preferably more than 3 screens for maximum efficiency. This makes it much easier to switch between the office and home. A replacement monitor (and a lower quality monitor) easily costs $100 and is a lot less portable. This is flat with no legs and has a magnetically adjustable body that doubles as a stand. I sent this product to my two siblings and they both bought the same 1080p resolution during the early access sale. I honestly don't understand why someone who travels with their computer doesn't have at least one of these. It came well packaged with the necessary cables and if you are using it as a secondary monitor you can plug the USB-C straight into an open slot on your laptop and it will use the laptop's power supply instead of using another outlet! a downside and it almost doesn't knock at all. It's not the darkest black. Maybe there's a way to adjust the color settings (which, by the way, the OSD is easy to use and has a lot more options than many full-size desktop monitors). but for the price and all the other features it probably can't be beat. It comes with all the necessary cables for almost any situation, as well as a power adapter in case you happen to connect it to a computer that uses HDMI or doesn't disable the USB-C port. When using a laptop, all you have to do is connect it directly to the computer using the supplied USB-C cable and it works great! It's hard to believe it has such a price. I was expecting to finally come across a portable monitor that would meet all my needs and cost a lot more.
