Having had portable monitors like this in the past, I can safely say that this is one of the best monitors out there. The entire body is metal, including the built-in kickstand. Is the separate plastic stand more of a phone stand? It offers no more customization options than the built-in kickstand and is just another carry-on item. It's also not as stable as the built-in kickstand. The built-in stand has a clever rubber strip at the bottom, which combined with the rubber feet on the bottom edge of the monitor body, provides slip resistance, which is very handy when the monitor is close to the edge of the table and it is easily bumped. The built-in speakers are really useless. The sound quality is significantly worse than the speakers built into the laptop. Since many portable PCs come with sound from manufacturers like Bang & Olufsen, there's really no need to add speakers to this display.
