Review on 🔍 GE Microwave Oven Grease Filter Replacement - WB06X10309, WB06X10654, WB06X10359, 5230W1A012B (2-Pack) - 7-5/8 x 5-1/8 x 1/8 Inch by Tom Tucker

The filters came in a cardboard box in a padded envelope which gives all the protection needed - they arrived in good condition. While these filters aren't very durable, I think they'll hold up to repeated washing for a while. The box says the filters are 5-1/8 x 7-5/8, but I think they're offset by 1/16 in each dimension. They're microwaveable, but I'm not sure they'll stay in place. What worries me the most is the density of the filters. My old filters seem to have more crossed wires compared to new filters (see my photo). One of the new filters has an area of about 2 inches in diameter with very little material in it - I don't see how it even captures grease. I could try doubling up and putting two filters in each slot.
