Great product that does exactly what it says it does

I originally bought these to test as I want to broadcast my DirecTv to multiple TVs. So far they've worked great in all of my testing, and once I upgrade my network in my house to have connections everywhere I need them, I'll be purchasing a few more receivers to complete the setup. this. You are using a multicast protocol so make sure your router/switch can handle it, otherwise it will need to be on its own network. If you don't have the right type of switch, you are most likely turning off your entire WiFi network. This is not a design flaw, just a side effect of the multicast protocol. I was aware of these limitations when I bought it and had a switch to deal with it, but I only tested it to see and it didn't last long. The only thing I wish was different is that I want the sender to output a standard UDP multicast stream. to which I could connect my computer. I've used Wireshark to show network traffic and it uses the standard protocol, but the packet length gets displayed incorrectly every time, which means they're most likely doing something non-standard with it. I'm not demoting stars for this because they make another (more expensive) transmitter that does the same thing, but it had other options and I was hoping it did the same thing and just didn't provide a good UI to look for information. I would recommend this product to anyone who just needs to transmit an HDMI signal over a long distance or to multiple TVs, which is what I want to do.
