Use Category 6 or higher solid copper for long runs

Excellent for multi-screen displays. A recently installed installation has been pre-connected to the projector. The change required two screens 50 feet from the projector. A signal was sent from a transmitter 70 feet up. 5-port Cat6 Ethernet switch at projector location From switch to screens via Cat6 Excellent 1080p signal on both STB IR driven displays.

Pros
  • GOLS Certified
Cons
  • Upgradeable

Perfect solution: HDMI cable

Easy to install and set up! It just works flawlessly - the best device! The overly expensive and complex Gefen system has been replaced. The only thing I wished for was bi-directional IR and POE - there are always two extra pairs in a CAT cable that can easily carry those two conveniences. If you are looking for a simple connection from A to B this works perfectly, a more complex connection from A to B, C, D and F - we recommend an IP switch and it works PERFECTLY!

Great for long distance runs

We have about 80 feet from our video switcher to the remote display. We tried two other brands of HDMI extenders and they worked great on shorter runs. But the signal kept dropping to this farthest place, and ProAV solved this problem perfectly. I should note that we ran it over a dedicated Cat6 cable that is independent of our building's main internet network. Our engineer tried it on his home network and found that it could add up to 70Mbps multicast traffic. For most networks this isn't a…

This device was a great purchase! I use this set in my .

This was a great purchase! I use this set in my church to provide an HDMI signal for the confidence monitors in our sanctuary stage. The transmitter is located in a technical booth at the back of the sanctuary and receives an HDMI video signal from our main switch. We use about 300 feet of CAT6 Ethernet cable to connect a four port Gigabit Ethernet switch to the scene. There are three J-Tech receivers connected to an Ethernet switch via CAT6 cables, which in turn connect to three video monitors

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Cables shorter than others

looked like someone was sleeping

One star deducted because the first order i received looked like someone was sleeping, just a power adapter and a rf extender. Contacted Revain and had to redeem to have it sent again. I have it in the basement and go to the living room on the first floor. I have a CAT5E that plugs into a patch panel and then into a living room and it works with no problems. From time to time it seems that either the cable box is not working properly (which may well be after TW) or the HF is not working. If I…

Has worked flawlessly. suitable for HDMI cable

I really liked these devices. We streamed with an HDMI projector at the front of the room and a second (VGA) projector halfway back. The transmitter was connected to the same HDMI hub that the front projector was connected to. After more than 50 meters to the receiver, the signal for the old projector had to be converted from HDMI to VGA in the background. Both screens were viewable from the rear projector and there was absolutely no noticeable lag between them. This was important as the…

It worked but be aware

It ran a CAT-5e at about 140ft but it barely worked. Sometimes you had a picture and no sound, sometimes you had no picture. Disconnecting and reconnecting the device allowed it to sync again. It eventually synced and worked, but the advertised length appears to be in pristine condition, which isn't typically the case in a home where EMI or other interference can affect the wiring. I built my own CAT 5e cables and tried two different cables and both showed the same results so can't blame it was

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Very expensive

Great product that does exactly what it says it does

I originally bought these to test as I want to broadcast my DirecTv to multiple TVs. So far they've worked great in all of my testing, and once I upgrade my network in my house to have connections everywhere I need them, I'll be purchasing a few more receivers to complete the setup. this. You are using a multicast protocol so make sure your router/switch can handle it, otherwise it will need to be on its own network. If you don't have the right type of switch, you are most likely turning off…

Great support, good product

We had a rocky start with J-Tech, but the support team has always been helpful. short story; I originally gave 1 star because this product and the HDMI splitter were not working properly. Support saw my 1 star rating and contacted me and asked if they could send another block. When testing the second block I had the same problem. I tested different Cat 6 cables, different HDMI. I really came to the conclusion that the product is bad. Then it occurred to me that I should try a different TV. So…
