Yes it works for GAUGE with NEEDLE
This restored the factory oil pressure gauge function on my 1999 Ford Ranger dashboard. The arrow now shows positive oil pressure. Prior to the installation of this gauge switch, the gauge needle would periodically jump and/or fall as if reading zero oil pressure. This transmitter switch fixed the problem.
