Review on Klean Kanteen Insulated Stainless 20 Ounce by Cody Howard

Update March 7th: upgraded to 4 stars. I have written to Klean Kanteen regarding this issue. They send me a new bottle with a replacement cap and seals. Really great customer service. The new bottle had an industrial odor but was cleaned by cleaning. These people stand behind their product. Nice to see. Have renewed my confidence in the company. First experience: Big disappointment. When I first received this beautiful container, I noticed a strong chemical odor coming from the inside. So I washed it thoroughly. The smell seems to be gone. Now every time a hot liquid is in the bottle for more than a few hours the smell comes back and I can taste it. Washed with soapy water. Didn't fix the problem. A total failure for a company that is supposed to manufacture products without chemicals!
