UPDATE 8/21/2021 school year, he can still wear these shoes after stepping in a muddy puddle :( we had no choice but to throw them in the washing machine and to air dry) god they came out so clean and still charge and glow. He will start this school year with me buying them in December or January 2020. My son is 4 years old. Size 13 fits about half a size larger for a small child, it is imperceptible AND good for growing up. So fun that it comes with a USB charging cable splitter for simultaneous charging and lots of lighting options. When the shoes are charging they will sync and flash red for charging and green when charging is complete. Oh and the shoes aren't real high tops that suit me, he likes the shoes so I'm happy with the shoes. Also, the teachers and students like them.
