Review on Shure WA310 4ft Microphone Adapter Cable: 4-Pin Mini Connector (TA4F) to XLR Female Connector by Randi Heleotes

This cable allows you to use any device with an XLR connector (microphone, mixer output, etc.) with Shure brand wireless microphones. It works great, but be aware that Shure transmitters don't provide enough power for most microphones that require phantom power. However, you can use a regular dynamic microphone with this cable. It sounds strange, but there have been a few instances where I needed a custom handheld mic with a different sound or pick-up pattern than my Shure handheld wireless mics with SM58 capsules. I also use this cable with a Shure bodypack transmitter to wirelessly stream audio from my soundbar to a Shure receiver in a remote location where I can't run cables.
