Like a jewel: microphones and accessories

The cable worked as expected. like a jewel. But what really impressed me was the delivery. I ordered this cable at the last minute in the evening. The next morning, as I was driving from San Diego towards Beverly Hills, I was directed to take these cables to a Revain locker near where I work, and as I was about to exit the freeway, I received a notification that the cable was delivered. I just added a stop to my google map drive and bam I had the cables in my hands and it only took 3 minutes…

Ideal for placing wireless speakers.

I purchased this Shure Mini Qg/XLr Cable to use with my Shure Wireless Lavalier Microphone. I wanted to put the powered speaker in the corner of the room and the laptop/CD player somewhere else. One end of the cable went to the microphone box, the other end to the XLR output of my mixer. The receiver was then connected to my powered speaker. Some minor adjustments had to be made for the gain. Once it was done, BAM! I had sound from a wireless speaker that was in the corner. GREAT! The setup…

Well made and works as advertised

I needed to shoot a wedding in an environment that didn't have an existing sound system to plug into, I couldn't use lavalier mics and needed a hidden hypercardioid mic in a bloom Bow to collect votes. I didn't have a way to run cables from the mic to the camera, so I decided to find an XLR to TA4F adapter to connect the Sure transmitter to the mic. This cable couldn't be found in town, so I had to take a chance and order an invisible visor from Revain. To my great delight, it arrived quickly…

With this cable you can use any device with an XLR connector.

This cable allows you to use any device with an XLR connector (microphone, mixer output, etc.) with Shure brand wireless microphones. It works great, but be aware that Shure transmitters don't provide enough power for most microphones that require phantom power. However, you can use a regular dynamic microphone with this cable. It sounds strange, but there have been a few instances where I needed a custom handheld mic with a different sound or pick-up pattern than my Shure handheld wireless…

Works but adds noise

As a videographer specializing in live broadcast, I sometimes need to bring wireless microphones with me to get what I need to record. In most cases, a lavalier mic is the right choice, but occasionally a portable mic is better. Instead of shelling out another $350 for a handheld wireless mic, I decided to try this cable with a standard Shure SM58. The combination works, but the final recording is more noisy than using the same microphone plugged directly into the recording device. To verify if
