In case you didn't know, the arrow on the side of Wix Cabin Air Filters indicates the direction of airflow. Application hotline and asked. You were very specific. I mention this because my original factory filter had an arrow that said "UP" and the arrow was pointing up. Another brand of filter had an arrow that said "AIRFLOW" and the arrow was supposed to be pointing down. Wix brand cabin air filters only have an arrow and part number entry. In my car with Wix internal filters, the arrow should be pointing down and the part number should be upside down. If you remove your old cabin filter, you will see which side is dirtier. If the top is dirtier, then the airflow is top to bottom and the arrow on the Wix cabin filter should be pointing down. This cabin air filter works both ways, but can last longer if installed in the correct orientation. (That's assuming it's actually more than a single stage filter.) On my car, another arrow points up on the black plastic cap on the cabin filter housing. This arrow has NOTHING to do with the orientation of the filter. This is just to make sure you installed the cover correctly. I have a 2011 Kia Forte EX and this cabin air filter (Wix 24684) fits perfectly. I award 4 stars for value and functionality. Didn't give 5 stars because it's just an old cabin air filter with no charcoal or pleasant smell.
