🔍 WIX Filters - 24684 Cabin Air Panel, Single Pack Review

I just installed a WIX Cabin Filter on my Nissan Versa. It seems to be of much better quality than my branded filter at the auto parts store. It has more folds and a stiffer frame. The airflow through the filter seems to be good. Time will tell how it will work.

I bought this filter to replace a very dirty cabin air filter on a 2006 Kia Rio. The filter appears to be the right size, but it doesn't quite fit into the plastic filter holder. It's just too big and doesn't fit the plastic rails. I had to cut the ends of the filter to fit the filter holder. In general, the filter is good, the air quality in the cabin has improved.

The price is great and the product quality is good. Maybe not quite OEM quality, but certainly acceptable (especially for the price). However, this product is not quite suitable for the 2012 Tucson. It's too wide, causing the lid to not latch properly. For other Hyundais that have room for a cabin filter, this is not a problem. The Tucson has very tight tolerances that require a perfect fit. I used the parts finder section of the Revain search engine to determine which cabin air filter I needed to fit my limited edition 2007 Hyundai Tucson with a 2.6 liter V6 engine. The seeker claimed that these parts fit my car, I can assure you that this is not the case, the filter to be replaced was even a different size and was significantly smaller, the Wix filter sent to me is too big for the standard one filter housing. In case you didn't know, the arrow on the side of Wix Cabin Air Filters indicates the direction of airflow. Application hotline and asked. You were very specific. I mention this because my original factory filter had an arrow that said "UP" and the arrow was pointing up. Another brand of filter had an arrow that said "AIRFLOW" and the arrow was supposed to be pointing down. Wix brand cabin air filters only have an arrow and part number entry.
