I was very happy that instructions for use were included, as I'm really not a technology freak. I connected it to my phone and my phone recognized it immediately. I still can't figure out how to transfer files from my phone to it, but I think it's because the kid has to come and show me. lol It may not fit my Samsung phone but it's fine. Works on my tablets. For some reason my phone cannot transfer files to a storage device. Phones don't last forever, so I'm sure I'll be using them a lot in the future. I will only use it for my tablets for now.
