Review on ✂️ 1500-Pack AmazonBasics Staple Remover & Staples Set by Rob Madden

Suitable for light projects but often misfires with U and T brackets

The main attraction of this stapler is its ability to work with three different types of fasteners. After using it I'd say that it can technically shoot all three types, but it's only good when working with regular D-type staples. You can use the other two types, of course, but the stapler misfires with them enough to get a bit annoying. . The first project I tried with this stapler was attaching wire mesh to the fence with U-clips. It works for the most part, but the stapler failed every 5-6 staples, usually squeezing the staple legs together instead of pulling the wire I was attaching. Pure. The design accommodates three types of staples based almost entirely on the domed/notched hammer shape, leaving plenty of room for U-type and T-type staples to slide. Centering/aligning in magazine, except for the notch in the stapler. In the tiny fraction of a second that the hammer moves down, that little notch should center the pin, hopefully make it straight and vertical, and actually push it into the material you're nailing. It works most of the time, but misfires/stutters occur often enough to be disappointing. Overall, I like the concept of this stapler, but the execution requires some work. If somehow the magazine could be engineered to better secure and properly align all three types of staples, I would suspect the stapler would be much more reliable to work with. Still, I can give this stapler 3 stars because it works most of the time.
