Review on Permatex 82180 Maximum Resistance Silicone by Tarrance Man

Used with Ultra Black to seal a gas filler hose that has become detached from the gas tank. The part to replace it cost over $1,000 plus labor so I saved a lot, lot of money. Put on 5 layers to be on the safe side (sometimes when the weather is 20 degrees). Not sure if this is a long term solution at this point (will be updated in 6 months) but I just filled my gas tank and there were no leaks in the fill line. I can add another layer of Seal-All or another Permatex liner just in case. Very happy with Permatex Ultra Black. Dirty yes, but cleans up easily with Goo Gone and paper towels. I researched this for hours and was able to solve an unusual problem (at least temporarily) and it saved me a lot of money. Thanks Permatex.
