Good value for money. Assembly advice required

Overall good value for money. After buying 8 standing units and 2 attachments, I learned a lot by assembling them. Before I start with assembly tips, I want to say that I love having my movies and CDs organized! Now I can find any volume from my various collections. My first advice to the manufacturer is to better clean the parts! The box comes with lots of sawdust for free. Save yourself the hassle and just tidy up the parts by unpacking the box. I found that to be the most effective. As mentioned by others, the destinations aren't the biggest. I will add some tips. The assembly of the main parts is straightforward and relatively easy. The first problem will be attaching the back cover. It's flimsy, but once in place, it does the job and looks good. I would recommend putting in a few extra shelves before attaching the back. This keeps the sides straight, which helps when nailing the back. I also went to the local hardware store to get some extra brackets. Some packages had too little, others too much. I placed the block face down and nailed the bottom to the base. I then angled it and added some shelves to keep all the posts straight. I then leveled the unit - this can be done by measuring, but I used a carpenter's square. The units are not perfect so check both sides and average them. While holding this position, I stuck some pins into the top corners and center of the posts. This is enough for the device to be square and the racks straight. Then I flipped it backwards because it's a lot easier to nail the rest of the pins like this. Nail tip - sometimes you fall into a hole in the shelf. You will feel it immediately. Pull that pin out again, slide it up or down a little, and nail it back in place. You will also occasionally miss and get too close to the edges of the posts. Once you feel the pen goes in too easily, pull it out and adjust the entry point and/or angle. Attaching the back panel is the hardest part of the build, but with patience it will look great when finished. does not lie on a strip of tape under a carpet. Otherwise it will be knocked over or must be kept away from the wall. Feel the edge of your rug where it meets the wall. You should feel the width of the adhesive strip. I installed the tack bars about 3-4 inches from the back of the unit and they worked great. The front guides (legs) can be placed as far forward as possible. Finally, I bought some corner brackets from the hardware store to attach the tops of the blocks to the wall. I screwed them into the sides of the blocks and then put the blocks back in place. Then mark the hole on the wall. Unplug the unit and install the wall anchors. Then attach the block to the wall. This makes for an incredibly solid setup. Suffice it to say I'm not worried about my grandson tipping the pad on himself. After installation I painted the brackets to match the wall (picture attached). You won't notice them. The plastic strap included in the kit seemed inadequate to me. In general, I find these devices to be very good value for money and would buy them again. I would absolutely give them 5 stars if the tails were a little easier to install and the parts weren't covered in sawdust.
