I just bought this car seat and am planning to buy 2 more but I wanted to let buyers know that it is best to buy a car seat if you have a small dog that goes with you and fits your baby. Animal is to measure your animal from crown to tail when sitting upright. I originally ordered a small car seat for my 7 pound dog. NOT RIGHT. I ended up sending it back and paying for the restocking. While my dog fit perfectly in the seat, he was unable to sit. The seat was too low! How embarrassing for my girlfriend. So make sure there is enough room in the chair for this precious little dog's head! Don't waste your money on returns. Measure correctly the first time!
