Terrible purchase, only wasted money.

When buying this model, I did not have enough knowledge of this type of technology. If I knew this would be a problem, I WOULD NOT BUY. I would choose another model of the same Canon, but with a "normal" flash connection. The rest is all right.

Pros

Inexpensive SLR camera from a reputable manufacturer. A great option as a first "DSLR" for those who want more than a budget "soap box" can give.

Cons

And now about the set-up that Canon arranged for all the "happy" owners of this model. There is no central contact on the hot shoe (seen in the photo). That is, most flashes and synchronizers will not work on it. You rent a photo studio for a few hours, you come, the administrator gives you a synchronizer for working with studio flashes . but nothing works for you, because . "surprise" from Canon.
