I like the weight of the product, it looks like a quality base. The valve opens and closes gently. This style is perfect for my kitchen. I only gave 3 stars because the spout has no fixed connection to the base. seems weak. I tightened the nut as tight as I could (to the hilt) but the spout still wobbles back and forth about +/- 1/4 inch for a total of 1/2 inch. Internal parts in this regard are plastic with two O-rings to prevent leakage. I worry that this bond is fragile and won't last long. For this reason I considered returning this faucet, but for the price it is sufficient. I just have to be careful when turning the spout. For those wondering, there is no spring mechanism in the valve lever. Just turn the lever and the valve stays open until you close it. Anyway, I never used the spring feature on my previous faucet.
