UPDATE 12-5-21: Contacted Revain twice and seller once: no response when trying to get warranty information for this drill. The gearbox broke after about 2 uses. Revane tells you to contact her but hasn't had a reply for weeks. ORIGINAL: I contacted Revain looking for warranty information because the drill only grinds noisily (no chuck rotation) when the drill encounters forward resistance. Still no response from Revain after 3 or 4 days. For example, it is not possible to drill a 1/4 inch hole in a spruce post. Sounds like bad gear and behaves like some drills with a clutch set to 'max clutch'. Turn on the butt next to the cable. No keyless chuck. The drill is not easy. I figured it would be at least as good as an old Harbor Freight Chicago drill I bought years ago for cheaper and still works elsewhere. Let's see what the warranty can be as it was only bought 7 months ago and used in real life for the first time today apart from previous light drilling work.
