Review on SuperSonic Widescreen Compatible Built 24 Inch by Moises Dzihic

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Update of the original rating.

This TV was the perfect size for the space I had above my desk. Previous reviews have complained about the viewing angle, and I agree that it's limited both horizontally and vertically. Even more vertical. I left the stand screw slightly loose so I could tilt the screen down just enough to minimize this issue. I've also read complaints about the sound, but went into the settings and adjusted the bass and treble to resolve this issue to my satisfaction. It's not hi-fidelity, but it's adequate for comfortable listening. The DVD works well but I rarely use it. Overall I am very satisfied, especially for the price. Update 10 months after purchase: After 6 months of use, the power button on the remote control stopped working. The replacement cost was almost half what I paid for the TV! I decided to just use the power button on the TV. After 10 months of use, the device would not turn on at all. There's a reason the warranty is 90 days, that's how long it lasts before problems arise. I never used a DVD, I played it less than 20 hours a week and stayed in a well ventilated area over my computer. The device either has poor workmanship or poor components or both. I would not recommend this device to anyone. I will pay a little more for a replacement and will never buy from Supersonic again. All the negative reviews I read before, unfortunately, were true. I downgraded my stars to 3 because of the remote control. The power button does not work properly now (the TV is difficult to turn on or off). Yes, I changed the batteries. The warranty is only 90 days so I had no luck getting a replacement. The replacement cost is $25 plus $10. Delivery is fun! I'll look for a universal remote that will probably cost less than half that. The power button does not work properly now (the TV is difficult to turn on or off). Yes, I changed the batteries.
