Converse Chuck Taylor has been my go-to shoe for the past five years. Chucks mostly don't have arch support or padding, but I like them for their classic style and partly for the nostalgia factor. When my last pair broke I decided to try something new and bought these Stan Smiths and they are just fab! They are so soft and comfortable from day one and I can wear them all day to take the kids to the zoo or to go shopping. In any case, they also have clear lines and a high nostalgia factor and are also very comfortable. Sizing can be tricky and I had to order 2.5 sizes smaller than my usual women's size in sneakers, the rule of thumb is to order two sizes down for men. S sizes have worked for me in the past. Luckily, Revain offers free returns, so don't worry!
