I am buying a "system" with 6 sensors. I use them for a portable security system. I used the system actively. The advantages far outweigh the disadvantages. Pros: The system is very reliable and performance meets or exceeds the product description. The sensors detect a car over 60 feet away, a person over 30 feet away, and a moving train over 500 feet away. The transmission range varies depending on the terrain and building structures. A transmission range of over 1000 feet is a reasonable expectation in an unobstructed environment. Cons: These sensors work best with overlapping targets. An incoming target must get close enough before it is detected. A 400-foot metal building is blocking the signal. In general, I am very satisfied with the work of this "system”. I will add 2 more sensors in the near future.
