I am simply blown away by every aspect of this product. The product itself and the people who created it made this a 5 star rating for me. The day I received it I had to email customer service because I wasn't quite sure how to work with it. To my surprise, not only did the support service respond within an hour, but the president of the company himself responded. He asked how I found out about them and seemed delighted with his product and really happy that I chose it too interested. Unfortunately, there was a problem with my product, so I reported it to customer service on Thursday evening. This time I didn't hear an immediate reply. However, I received a package from UPS today (4 days after I sent that email) and it turns out they shipped a new unit with no questions asked. Not only is their product wonderfully vintage, but so is their customer service. I only see such care in mom and dad shops. However, this is all background. That's how I feel about the turntable itself - I'm not sure where all the noise complaints are coming from. I tried several records of all genres on it and the only genre it failed at was electronic music (I tried flume vinyl) but I don't expect the deep bass you can feel on a portable player and Neither should you. I heard the exact same vinyl on a friend's briefcase Crosley record player and the sound from this unit was definitely better. As mentioned in another review I hooked the player up to some of the high end speakers I have and the sound was beautifully bright and the bass was no longer an issue. Also, every other genre I've tried sounds clear, which I haven't heard from my premium streaming services, CDs, or lossless digital files. This is already a 5 star product for me and I would happily give more because the company has been fantastic.
