I had very high hopes for this item. The espresso maker looked cheap when opened, and the plastic pump handle looked like it could break easily. The handle also makes an awful creaking noise that will wake up anyone sleeping nearby while trying to make your morning coffee. Everything would be fine, but the car just didn't work. Water is not pumped through the machine at all. I've followed all the directions, used different grind sizes, etc., but still nothing. The instructions give some troubleshooting instructions and then add that if there is no water coming out of the machine then the machine is broken. Well, here it seems ——- DOA out of the box.
