We use this with a Garmin 2689LMT which is a 6 inch GPS. I chose this device because I can adjust the horizontal or vertical vents. (horizontal), it works great in the center vents. The sat nav is at a good height and much easier to reach than on the windshield. The devices remain stable on normal roads. There's a bit of suspension when cruising the crater-covered streets of New York, but that's acceptable. Also tried this on a 2007 G35 that has vertical vents. In this case it doesn't work. Although the mount can be rotated to accommodate the vertical blades, the stabilizer leg ends up hanging in the air. It takes quite a bit of top-to-bottom venting to balance it all out. It would be nice if the length of the lever attached to the blade could be adjusted. However, this is a good device, but note that your results may vary.
