Installation was pretty easy. I have a 1997 Honda Civic 5 speed and it looks fine in my car, but every time I shift gears it unscrews itself. When I say "every time" I mean that every time I shift the gear it spins, and by the time I get to work the shift knob almost falls off. The silicone around it is good because my old pen was all metal in the summer and got very hot, but the silicone kept it from getting hot. Another thing is that it doesn't sit flush with the stick. There is a very small gap and it just looks bulky. not worth your money. There are more convenient shift knobs.
