Great tester, the best of network and cable testers
AEMC correctly validates CAT5E cabling. It doesn't do Level 3 certification (with a printout), but does provide a map, removal, and wire breaks if you troubleshoot. We've been using them for years and they work great. It has a backlit screen (with a button to turn it on and off).

- Built-in tone generator for location and cable detection, built-in service check function for telephone detection, 10BaseT, 100Mbit plus and Token Ring, works with TIA 568A/B, USOC and ISDN schematics
