Review on Enhance Your Audio Experience with Edifier R33BT Active Bluetooth Computer Speakers - 2.0 Bookshelf Speaker - Powered Studio Monitor, Black - Pair by Kevin Phillips

Good but only good Good for computer speakers

The Edifier R33BT computer speakers are a pair of Bluetooth 5.0 2.0 speakers. These speakers are constructed in the same way as other Edifier speakers in the sense that two drivers are housed in a wooden cabinet. The larger driver is a 3.5" woofer for bass and mids, while the 1/2" tweeter is for high frequencies. This speaker has a frequency response of 70Hz to 20kHz and 10W of power distributed in a 5 x 5W pattern for the left and right channels respectively. What I liked most about these Edifier R33BT computer speakers is: - Good construction. These speakers have wooden cabinets, removable speaker grilles, and dedicated treble and mid/bass drivers. -Bluetooth 5.0. Many desktop speakers use 3.5mm jacks, which limits the number of devices you can connect to them. This speaker can be connected to a wide range of devices, including those that no longer have wired options. These speakers are easy to set up and take up little space, making them easy to place. These speakers sound good. They noticeably lack low frequencies, but the mids and highs are clear and distinguishable. What I liked least about these Edifier R33BT computer speakers is: One of the things I liked most about the Edifier bookshelf speakers is that you can start with a pair and then add more speakers to your set until you no longer have true surround sound system. They're not compatible with a surround sound setup and can't accommodate a subwoofer, so stick with them for what they are. - Energy efficient. 10W of power just isn't enough for anything but the most basic listening in a quiet environment. The performance of this speaker set should have been doubled, especially since there is no way these speakers can be added to a more robust system. Melody. They lack the future expandability to make other entry-level Edifier speakers appealing and are underpowered. So if you don't like how they sound or how loud they sound, there's not much you can do with them after you buy them. While I like them, I have so many other speakers that the limitations of these Edifier R33BT computer speakers don't bother me. Others are probably best shopping before settling on this set as I think it will be a set that one person will either love or hate without much in the middle. 3.5 out of 5.0.
