Great product (5 stars) although LED technology in general is not yet perfect for candelabra lamps (3 stars IMO). Things to look for when looking for a Candelabra LED Bulb: 1) This bulb has a 1/4 inch gold metal opening. This spoils the overall picture, especially with a colonial/traditional wooden chandelier 2) Although 'matte', the yellow element is quite prominent and contrasts awkwardly with the white frost and bright white 5000K daylight 3) A 6W Incandescent 5000K Daylight is pretty bright, especially if you have 6 or more bulbs per fixture. I prefer daylight, but that's too much for me. So my options are a) install a dimmer (won't happen anytime soon), b) use mini blinds (wife says it'll never happen), or c) look for 4 watt daylight bulbs (if it's freezing harder to find). Tip ).4) Dimmable lamps are more expensive than non-dimmable ones. So why overpay when you don't even have a dimmer? Because the possibilities of LEDs are still somewhat limited. It's hard to find the exact combination of power, curved/flamed and spherical/torpedo shaped, color temperature and matte or clear. 5) If you plan to use or install a dimmer, please read the bulb specifications very, very carefully. . Dimmable LEDs require a dimmer circuit that may not be compatible with what you currently have. Many dimmable lightbulbs fail, emit strange light, or do not dim evenly with standard dimmers. The lightbulb is not to blame. Dimmer switches are not a matter of course; they accumulate heat in a natural and rather unexpected way. Further tweaking a traditional dimmer circuit with LED bulbs can result in more than just a few broken expensive bulbs.
