I've been using this lens for a week now and am amazed that Sigma can make such perfect and durable lenses for a third of the price of other lenses. I have tested this lens at f1.4, f8 and f16 and consider it the best lens outperforming all lenses in the kit. Whether you want bokeh, group sharpness, or low-light photography, if you know what you're doing, this lens is for you. My other camera system is the Nikon, which is also excellent, but mastering my Sony 6500 with this lens allows me to reproduce Nikon very accurately with a much lighter, travel-friendly camera system. If you just want to point and shoot, better use your phone.
