Too heavy to lift high enough to open

Bought for a 6 year old grandson, not easy for an adult to pry high enough when opening , they're a few inches off the ground so don't have fun with that maybe if they had some sort of launcher? They are quite well done with a thicker parachute. I ended up buying him smaller ones from another brand and he was able to throw them away.
