Looks like he didn't want to open my ball valve.
I tried one on my new spiked NPT ball valve and it only turned a few turns before seizing. It seemed wrong to me. The 1/2" fittings I ordered from Spike fit perfectly. I felt like something broke and/or leaked when I used them. Returned.
