First, it works with an air compressor in a similar way to a floor pump. If you have a tire inflator that clips onto the valve stem (shredder), you can put it in and lock it in place. You may need to fiddle around with this adapter to get the right amount of pressure on the rubber grommet inside - you set it by unscrewing or unscrewing the metal cap that the valve stem goes through - so it stays on the valve stem and can be easily removed from the valve stem. Unfortunately, this thing can take a long time to get used to and can be frustrating at first. It works, and it's a lot quicker and easier than a tire inflator, but it's not as painless as using a good tire inflator on a Schrader valve.
