For triathletes or time trialists this is a must have if you want to inflate a disc bike yourself. It's frustrating having to hold this adapter with one hand into the valve on the impeller when inflating, but when you have a friend nearby who can help, it's easy! Works as described and has lasted a good 8 or 9 times, I actually needed it.

I use this unit on a bike with regular wire wheels so the special geometry is a must for me. However, it's still preferred over the Presta adapter that works with my supercharger/supercharger because it's large and stiff enough to fit in my hand when I put it on. Other devices require your fingers to screw on, and it's quite a hassle if you're not willing to sit on the floor.

First, it works with an air compressor in a similar way to a floor pump. If you have a tire inflator that clips onto the valve stem (shredder), you can put it in and lock it in place. I will try to save people the frustration of having to buy all the hard drive adapters from Amazon. I want to love this one because it's typically Silca of the highest quality. The valve is excellent, even holding up to 175psi with minimal finger pressure. Anyone who regularly inflates disc bikes knows the one-handed inflation technique and combined with the Silca Superpista it's an easy one-man job.
