Sharkbite and PEX saved me a lot of time digging through copper and cutting galvanized pipe to length.
. I've installed at least 20 Sharkbite fittings on various plumbing projects and have never had any leaks, some fittings are years old. I even had an uneven notch in the copper in one narrow spot and I was sure it would leak, but to my surprise it didn't leak at all. And you can even rotate the tube on the shark joint to adjust. Sharkbite and PEX saved me a lot of time digging through copper and cutting galvanized pipe to length. love these products.
