I was looking forward to an LED strip that does not require a power supply unit and can thus complete the upgrade of my home cinema system. This set was the right length and a decent price. However, when I plugged it in, nothing. I've tried different types of USB ports: TV, computer, multi-USB hub, battery pack. nothing yet. However, I've found that if I bend it a certain way, it works. This gave me the idea of a loose connection, and when I removed the waterproof plastic cover on the remote I saw where the contact had separated from the solder. I wrote to the seller and informed them. The seller responded quickly and promised to send a new device. More than a week later I received nothing. I've messaged the seller again to confirm it's on its way or should I just buy it somewhere else. It's been several days and I still haven't received a reply. If it shows up in the mail tomorrow I'll update my review based on the product received. But based on my experience, I would give this item zero stars if I could. **Update It took a lot of emails and more than two weeks, but the seller fulfilled my order correctly. like colors. Not as many options as is usually the case with LED lighting, but a good enough sacrifice for USB capabilities. I put on the back of my 52 inch screen. The strip was long enough to cover the top and both sides. Purchasing additional connectors and extensions would also allow the bottom to be used, but I don't think it's necessary. I've seen some complaints about the adhesive. I thought it was ok but I'll probably put extra tape in a few places to make sure it stays in place. It really improves the overall viewing experience with the LEDs on. It seems easier on the eyes and the picture quality seems to have improved a bit too. I'm not sure why, but that's my observation. I'm leaving 1 star due to the lack of communication and the time I spent trying to find a solution, but overall I'm happy with the product.
