Broke after a few months

Stops working after 4 months. The battery doesn't hold a charge because I left it plugged in for too long. It goes silent as others have said, but turns back on when a noise is made. However, this is not the only reliable way to hear the child. And now if it doesn't stay on (trying to find a connection because the other end isn't on), even when plugged in it's total garbage :(
