Honestly I avoid salons because I'm not as good at small talk as I used to be to not coming to a meeting on one of the weekends - I have to wait one whole week until I can walk again (with ugly nails!). I used to go to a manicurist who did a lot of manicures and pedicures - but sometimes she was in a hurry and in short I had blisters on my nails. Again, I don't have much free time and don't want to wait for someone to fix something if it doesn't get done right the first time. You know THIS routine. So I bought the same polish at my salon and got this UV/LED lamp and I can't complain anymore. My nails are made the way I want and my lifespan is much better. I usually wear neutral colors to work with short nails, but when I need to do something crazy I leave it to the manicure.
