The sizing chart for these gloves is terribly inaccurate. I ignored the size chart (which said to wear small) and instead ordered the large size, which I usually wear with a men's glove. With a white glove on my hand, I couldn't get my hand in the big "tank" glove at all. I managed to get my hand into the "gauntlet" but it was very tight and I couldn't close my fingers. Also, these gloves aren't real chain mail at all. They look and feel like a combination of fabric and aluminum fibers woven together. They don't offer the protection that true chain mail offers and will wear out as other reviewers have pointed out. I ordered large and small. I quickly returned both and ordered more expensive gloves, real chain mail.
