If you have a Big Bite style Camelbak this is a must have replacement. Ever since my son started drinking from our water bags, leaks have become too common. With this kit I can turn the water flow on or off without disasters. I. Let's face it, there have been a few times I've squeezed the tip too tight and stuffed it into my backpack without the baby being involved. I later opened the bag and found my water everywhere but the bag. This hasn't happened since installing the kit. When I bought the kit it cost the same as a replacement silicone mouthpiece so why not upgrade. It's pretty easy to put on, nothing special is required. I find that the first ten times you use the button it can get tight. But after a bit of use it became very reasonable for a person with strong hands. My wife still asks me from time to time to help bring her downstairs to clean. Last and important note. If you're using the included mouthpiece and have never replaced one of the Big Bites, DO NOT CUT THE HOLE, just move it back and forth until it pops open on its own. I sort of didn't read the instructions and ruined my first one with a razor blade. The next time I followed the instructions and everything was fine. Just be patient and do what it says. Enjoy.
