These are fairly standard/simple receiving blankets. About the same size as the ubiquitous pinks and blues you get from the hospital (maybe a tad larger though I didn't measure) but with much prettier patterns. They're regular flannel, so they may shrink a bit if you throw them in the dryer. I use them as burp cloths because a real burp cloth doesn't work for my "lucky bunny" who seems to be losing ounces of milk after every feeding! Random comment: I usually avoid using fabric softener/sheets due to my toddlers sensitive skin, but I definitely need to use unscented dryers with them or static electricity is ridiculous (although fairly normal for flannel). Overall I would recommend them. They're inexpensive, very functional, and durable, and I get a lot of use out of them!
