Review on πŸš€ Impressive Efficiency and Convenience: IOGEAR 2-Port MiniView Micro PS/2 KVM Switch with 2 Cables, GCS62 by Marcus Hussain

Revainrating 4 out of 5

GREAT. No problem, NOTHING. Reliable and fast!

This is AMAZING. We've been using it for the last two months to switch between two always-on desktops and I couldn't be happier. I figured I'd have to spend over $100 for a professional grade KVM. WOW I was surprised to see this at Revain for around $25. I was so skeptical that something this cheap (and without its own power supply) could work well, so I read reviews that were kind of mixed. I'm here to tell you that this thing is PHENOMENAL. That always works; Press the scroll button twice and it will ALWAYS switch between two PCs unless one of them is powered off or something. In this case, you can still switch to a powered-on device. I have seen NO PERFORMANCE PROBLEMS with this device. I use it with a PS/2 keyboard, a Microsoft IntelliMouse USB optical mouse with a USB->PS/2 adapter (works GREAT) and a Gateway HD widescreen LCD monitor. This device allows me to switch quickly and smoothly between both desktops EVEN IF THEY RUN BOTH FULLSCREEN DIRECTX GAMES. Oh, and those special weird multimedia keys on my new Gateway PS/2 keyboard that do volume +/-, mute, calculator, search, power, etc.? Yes, they work PERFECTLY ON BOTH MACHINES. So not only does it toggle and support all regular keyboards/number pads flawlessly, but it also supports extra weird keys that it can't handle. I never expected this level of performance, especially for $25, but WOW I got it. FIVE STARS.
