Finally a great, affordable KVM for everyday people

This product has been used for a long time. I had two complete systems on my desk for almost a year and it was frustrating. But every time I've researched KVM switches, I've been bewildered by the prices, the obvious issues, the complexity of the setup including having to buy your own cables (for a lot of money), the poor physical design, etc. But finally IOGear listened to the market. , which is probably a lot, and developed just the right product. It comes with its own built-in cables; in…

I want it to work better.

I recently upgraded my monitor to a 23 inch widescreen monitor. Since my current KVM doesn't support my new 1920 x 1080 resolution, I had to buy a new KVM. I saw Iogear here for a pretty low price. walked on and took the plunge. I really wish I hadn't. The Iogear dual port device was easy to connect. Everything seemed to be working fine. GREAT. No problem, NOTHING. Reliable and fast!

This is AMAZING. We've been using it for the last two months to switch between two always-on desktops and I couldn't be happier. I figured I'd have to spend over $100 for a professional grade KVM. WOW I was surprised to see this at Revain for around $25. I was so skeptical that something this cheap (and without its own power supply) could work well, so I read reviews that were kind of mixed. I'm here to tell you that this thing is PHENOMENAL. That always works; Press the scroll button twice and

Simple solution for single-monitor, multi-system configurations

I understand that most people don't need a KVM switch that lets you use a keyboard, monitor and mouse to control two systems, but don't I'll tell you that the IOGear device worked as advertised and wasn't as expensive as many of the boxed devices. Unless you buy a KVM with NSA-like specs to avoid crossfeeding from one system to another (hmm, why would you do that here), you really just need a switch to use a monitor with. /Keyboard/Mouse reliably without ghosting, crashes or other issues…
