Review on πŸš€ Impressive Efficiency and Convenience: IOGEAR 2-Port MiniView Micro PS/2 KVM Switch with 2 Cables, GCS62 by Tim Curd

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Finally a great, affordable KVM for everyday people

This product has been used for a long time. I had two complete systems on my desk for almost a year and it was frustrating. But every time I've researched KVM switches, I've been bewildered by the prices, the obvious issues, the complexity of the setup including having to buy your own cables (for a lot of money), the poor physical design, etc. But finally IOGear listened to the market. , which is probably a lot, and developed just the right product. It comes with its own built-in cables; in fact they are nothing more than cables; he sits at the computer or on the floor, near the table and to the side; Installation is as minimal as possible, just turn off computers, disconnect existing devices and connect switch cables in a completely obvious way. works great with both systems; it has (finally!) a sane control key combination, which is double-pressing the scroll lock, a key I haven't used in years, so it never happens accidentally; There's no physical switch here, but there's a nice control shortcut for those who need it, and who needs another box on their desk if the whole idea is to save space. Oh, did I mention it just works. Well, here's the thing: the mouse, keyboard, and monitor work fine on both systems. And considering the cost of cable, the price is just amazing. These should be sold in the tens, if not hundreds, of thousands. It just fills a niche market. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. And when will IOGear release its 3 and 4 port models? ;-)
